I always thought that they glossed over the war of 1812 because it wasn't exactly a glamourous victory for the States. I mean, the White House got burned down.
This makes me so sad. I understand the "concern for public health" that the officers cited, but really, there are SO many crimes that go unsolved or unpunished at any given moment, that I really have to wonder if police time and effort couldn't be better spent.
Would this tactic not also inspire their husbands to cheat? And when is the line drawn on this kind of thing? If the withholding sex tactic works in this case, is it going to become the go-to tactic when these women want anything done?
