You might be able to make laws telling the schools what type of school lunch they can serve, but you can't make families that have to send their kids to public school eat that or nothing.
As long as we can safely warn people for the next 100 or so years (which we can, since we currently understand pretty much all the languages of the 1900's) we're good. After that - it's up to that current era to decide how best to pass forward that info (since they will know far better then us, how to do so).

There has been NO known transference (or infection) of Mycobacterium leprae from touching a armadillo (dead or alive).
There are a few VERY rare cases of infection from eating under-cooked armadillo meat.
