To be fair, anyone can do what they did.

However, if we really really want to get totally hipster on this, we don't know if they pulled *good* shots of espresso. (shots that take too long or too little time to pour. It did look like the shots were streaming out consistently at least which is a good sign.) It can be a pain in the butt to pull a great shot from a manual machine like that. Also, they let the shots sit there forever while they prepared the milk, which is a no no.

Was a pleasant surprise to scroll down and see a picture I'd worked on. I was the person that colored #5.Lilo and Stitch. My friend was the artist of both 4 and 5 http://fooray.deviantart.com/

allahakbbq-I'm actually underweight but I work in Photoshop as part of my career and I know that a lot of what we are fed is just Photoshop touch ups. It's silly to expect anyone to have a body that looks like anything like a photo that's been manipulated because it's impossible. The thing is, there's a lot of women that need to wake up and realize Photoshop does not equal reality. I am not for getting rid of digitally altered images, I am for people being smart enough to know the difference. (and for youngins that don't know any better, I am for them being taught what is or isn't reality)

As a barista I can tell you it can be pretty tough to get people's names right. We don't take names often in my store because we're not high enough volume to need it. But boy when we do it can be very frustrating. If we're busy enough to need names on cups it's usually going to be very loud between the noise of customers, the music, and the sound of the blenders going. And to top that off, a lot of people will say their name very quietly. I generally won't ask a person to repeat their name more than two times just because it can be embarrassing for me to be like "what? WHAT?" and can be annoying for the customer to have to keep repeating their name.

There's also the issue of coming across names I hadn't heard before because we do get a number of visitors from other countries as well as people who's parents just gave them very unique names. (we did have a regular named Blaze, it was her real given name and was on her driver's license.)

So it's not that we misspell your name because we're stupid. It's just 9 times out of 10 the barista probably misheard you. And if that's not the case, there's many different ways to spell most names so unless you let them know, there's a chance it's going to be misspelled. That and well, mistakes happen, we're only human.

You know JM, there's a lot more children that ended up screwed up after having straight parents than gay parents so to say having straight parents automatically is superior to gay parents is just silly. You aren't right, my parents were straight and had a buttload of issues and divorced and I spent from 5th grade onward going through therapy. My dad now no longer has anything to do with me so the way I see it, I have 1 parent, that being my mom. (who is awesome)

That's not to say there won't be issues like that with gay parents but be realistic. Children deserve loving and supportive parents, who cares if their parents happen to be two fathers or two mothers?

The new cartoons are very well written, nicely animated, and have solid characters. I love it but I'm also an animation fan. I'm female so I suppose it's not as earth shattering for me to enjoy it, but to be fair I preferred Ninja Turtles over MLP when I was a kid.

Wow, some really heartless people in here. Heaven forbid some people have some compassion and save a cat's life. I would rather save a poor kitten's life than some of you people, geez.
