Years ago on a trip to Alaska, we rode the tram up to the top of Mt. Roberts in Juneau. There's hiking trails and a nature center at the top, and we were introduced to a bald eagle named Cessna, so named because he had flown into an airplane and broken his wing. They were rehabbing him at the nature center.
The only episode of "Pitchmen" I've seen was the one where they agreed to pitch the Grater Plater for their friend who was a cancer survivor. It was funny and touching.
You know, I'm more bummed about Billy Mays than Michael Jackson. I was never a Jacko fan, but I can definitely acknowledge that he was talented and had a huge influence on pop culture. But Billy Mays just seemed like a very real and likeable guy.
I was in marching band in high school. Invariably, it seemed that the school bus that the band always got stuck with when we would travel to away football games was the one bus that had the name of the school spelled wrong.
And I remember exactly what I was doing when I learned about Princess Diana. My two brothers were moving my piano from my parents' house to mine, and as we all sat down to cool off afterward, one of them casually mentioned the news.
They look like doodles. Some of them are really lovely, very clean and simple. I have tattoos, so I can really appreciate how much work went into some of these, although most of them are not designs I'd want as they are a little too "Hot Topic" for my tastes. The "Guernica" artwork really caught my eye, although that, of course, is Picasso.

Indeed. :)
