I've never understood the vehemence with which people knock "Battlefield Earth".
"American Beauty", "Lost in Translation" and Kim Basinger's performance in "L.A.Confidential" all won Acadamy awards! And you call "Battlefield" a dog?
Ever seen "Gattica" or "A.I."? Sheesh!

That translation was a tough read, but it made a boring story slightly more interesting.

I get free "newspapers" delivered weekly to the end of my driveway. They suck and they're a recycling burden, full of ads for services I don't use. I wish I could send them back to the distributor, along with the 30 phone books I get every year.

Don't point that finger at me! My home Particle Accelerator didn't fail because I was high. It was due to sub-standard outsourced parts. And poorly translated manuals. Like, totally.
