Spending Quality Time with the Goldfish

You should always take time out of your day to let your loved ones know how you feel. Playing with your pets is important, so they don’t feel rejected. Even if that pet is a goldfish in an outdoor pond or lake. And don’t just pet them and leave -make sure you pick them up and give them cuddle, too. -via Daily of the Day

i think that's a flowerhorn, probably a golden base because of that bulge on it's head. We have one, he hasn't fully matured.

My family used to camp in Carpenteria every year for spring break and these mints were the highlight of the trip! Well, that and The Spot for burgers and The Palms for steaks. And from what I recall, the owners are Luc Robataille's aunt and uncle? I can't remember. The mints are pricey but worth it, in my opinion. I think I'm going to order up a box right now. :)

They do look like poker chips. Hopefully, some PC "do gooder" won't complain about it because gambling is so bad and all that.

The picture doesn't really do them justice but they are much flatter than poker chips, actually. Once you see them they look nothing like a poker chip. Or maybe it's just because we always used to get the pastel ones and you don't really see pastel poker chips all that often.

These mints are super.

Another great place to eat in Carp is Esau's, especially for breakfast.

We were just there over New Years.
