Fan-made Millennium Falcon

Thomas Richner is a Star Wars fan. A crafty Star Wars fan with some spare time. He spent 140 hours building an elaborate replica of the Millennium Falcon out of cardboard, internal structures and all, and it look just like the real thing. He even photographed it in front of a green screen so he can add effects! Oh, you say the “real thing” is a cardboard model in front of a green screen? Well, then of course this is exactly like the real thing! See a series of photographs that follow the build process.

It seems to me that it might actually be a bit smaller than the real thing.
I also wonder how the cardboard holds up to people walking around inside.

Yeah! Parachute and "the football", briefcase with the nuke codes. Call in his own support strike.

And it does look like a Denzel/Arnold Governator love child.

ted,

OMG, your right, it's not Obama. This figure is wearing a flag lapel pin, Obama doesn't wear those!

I think this action figure is pure awesome, I love the light sabre fight image against Darth Vader.

Randall & Gauldar are right; this can't be Obama. A lefty wouldn't hold the gun like that, Obama doesn't do lapel-pin flags, plus the ears don't stick out quite far enough.

Disappointed.

Obama holding a gun is going to one of the last images you'll ever see in your life. The guy is one of the most anit-gunners out there. If it was up to him, we'd be like the U.K. or Australia.

@Guldar:

That's quite impressive. Australia beat out the US on that Happiest Countries poll by a staggering 3/10ths of a percent. Maybe the US would be a much happier place if everyone had an Obama Action Figure.

@Dave

Your probably right, I mean it works for crying & complaining children screaming at the top of their lungs at their mother in a Walmart. Will one work for you honey?
