David Lynch's Return of the Jedi

In 1981, George Lucas approached David Lynch about directing the third film of the Star Wars trilogy. It was not to be, but Lynch went on to direct Dune in 1984, so there is some source material for an imagined Lynch-directed Return of the Jedi. OMG hallelujah. I am going to have to check that out. I've been searching for food blog recipes by typing in the ingredient or recipe I want and adding "blogroll," on the theory that a lot of foodblogs will have that word on their site somewhere; it works pretty well but i'm glad somebody has made me a real search engine to use :)
