Wil Wheaton's Advice Inscribed in a High School Graduate's Yearbook

Anne Wheaton, the wife of celebrity geek and Star Trek: The Next Generation star Wil Wheaton, writes:

Wil was asked to sign the yearbook of a boy who just graduated from high school. He added a little extra something.

All of this is good advice to high school graduates. I would also suggest not attempting to perform a Kolvoord Starburst unless you're a master pilot.

It's been my experience that the best way to have your advice ignored is to use an opening remark similar to what Wil uses here. It goes along with the old joke "In my days...". But as for the effort, well, I guess Wil gets an A+ for attempting to encourage people, and if nothing else, perhaps it will be worth something as a curio one of the days.

(not a big Wil Wheaton fan, if it's not clear)
