In Kottayam, Kerala, India, there was grand double Catholic wedding that involved three sets of twins. Akhil K. Thomas married his bride, Magi Mary Thomas, as Nikhil K. Thomas married his bride, Maria Mary Thomas.
A double wedding is already a spectacle, but this one went further. There were two Catholic priests presiding over the wedding, Father Pezhumkattil and Father Ajo Pezhumkattil of the Kanjirappally Diocese.
NDTV tells us that the twin theme originated with the brides, who searched for twin priests for this event. This particular church is locally noted as a gathering place for twins.
