Untold Truth Of The Ark Of The Covenant

The Ark of the Covenant is one of the holiest artifacts in religion. It’s been referenced in different forms of media, from books to movies, yet most people don’t know what exactly it is. From its portrayal in the 1981 Indiana Jones film Raiders of the Lost Ark, the Ark is depicted as a chest that should not be in the hands of evil people.

Alternatively called the Ark of the Testimony or the Ark of God, the artifact was a movable sanctuary for the Israelites. According to the Jewish Encyclopedia, the Ark was like a place for God to sit until they arrived in the promised land and could establish a temple there. Grunge dives deeper into the history and lore of the mysterious artifact here!

An object so holy, in fact, even looking at it or touching it could be deadly. Yes definitively something that belongs in a museum where everyone may take a look at it..How on earth could it been lost? How on earth could someone have stolen it (especcially as it seems to be quite deadly)? If the Ark of the Covenant was a big box full of things important to God how can he have allowed it that it got lost? Why is there no record on how or where it got lost? And just in case it was such a formidable weapon, why was is not used against the Assyrians or the Babylonians? And in case it could be found it could be instantaeously possible to scientifically test the deadly touch of the arc or just find out if it is just an overhyped box.
