Bicicleta Sem Freio is a duo that paints large-scale murals that feature colorful plants and animals, alongside different cartoon characters. Their artworks can be found all over the globe, from New Delhi to Jerusalem to Fortaleza.
Brazilian artists Douglas de Castro and Renato Reno, the people behind the brand, were influenced by the ‘80s and ‘90s global and Brazilian pop culture. Both artists enjoyed watching cartoons and television shows when they were younger.
