The Dendrohyrax interfluvialis is a new species of a tree hyrax. Recently announced by scientists this week, it was actually initially discovered in 2009 by researchers in Nigeria. The researchers noticed a bark-like call in the night, and they discovered the species. But why did it take years to fully confirm its existence?
