The Yeronga Devils football club in South Brisbane went out of their way to show love and solidarity to a teammate. Player Jamie Howell is hearing impaired. She has an implant, and wears a helmet on the playing field to protect it, so other players learned some sign language to communicate during games. Recently those other players got together by video chat and rehearsed the team's song in Auslan. When they surprised Howell with the song, she was overwhelmed with emotion.
