It has been roughly 250 years since the rubber eraser was introduced. But after all of these years, the pencil’s partner always had one major flaw, and that is, you can’t see what you’re erasing. Until now.
Five years ago, Osaka-based stationery company Seed was able to come up with a concept of a clear eraser. After years of testing and experimentation, the company finally arrived at the perfect formula that would produce what they wanted: a translucent yet functional eraser that won’t crumble when used.
The official name of the eraser is the Clear Radar, and you can look for them in stationery stores across Japan.

Am I missing something? Assuming the right hand is doing the erasing, if one erases from right to left, then one can see what is being erased.
