Train Logos from All Over America

I just found out that different states in America have their own railways, each having their own logos specific to them. In my country, we don't really have a lot of railways so there isn't much room for creating unique logos. I guess it's similar to different airlines having their own logos. In any case, here's a collection of railway logos in America at Reagan Ray.

Sorry to disappoint you Exuperist. Many of those railroads are extinct, and their logos are only found on antique locomotives and rolling stock on display somewhere. There are about 700 railroads in the US and most of them are short lines. The one nearest me, the St. Maries River Railroad, operates on just over 70 miles of track. I'm a westerner, and am only familiar with some of the railroads crossing the Rocky Mountains. For example: In 1970 the Great Northern; Northern Pacific, Chicago Burlington and Quincy, and the Spokane Portland and Seattle railways merged to form the Burlington Northern Railroad. The BN operated until 1996, when it merged with the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway to form the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway. Missouri Pacific was absorbed into the Union Pacific in 1982. UP took over Western Pacific in 1982, and the Denver & Rio Grande Western in 1988.Salt Lake Route (real name San Pedro Los Angeles and Salt Lake RR) Existed only on paper after UP bought it in 1921. It officially died in 1988. And the Nevada Northern was basically an ore train operating on less than 200 miles of track. When the mines and smelters closed,in the early 1980s, most of it became a museum.https://www.nnry.com/
