If we don't curb our carbon emissions along with other greenhouse gases, climate change will spell disaster for some of the popular coastal national parks in the US. As sea levels continue to rise, we might see some land areas being submerged underwater if a storm surge were to hit. Here are a few maps that show the flooding risks of various national parks in the US.

Sea level has risen about 1.5mm per decade for centuries. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_level_rise If this is representative of a 4.5mm sea level rise, then I'm impressed. More likely it's more "sciency" sounding than actual science.

Amazing to see how much things might change in 30 years. This of course is with hurricanes rather than sea level rise but we'll also see more and more hurricanes.
