An Abandoned Time Capsule Mansion in France

Urban explorer Bob Thissen from the Netherlands found a 12-bedroom hidden “time capsule” mansion in central France, deepin the middle of a densely forested area.

Thissen was surprised that though it was abandoned, the mansion remained intact. The manor was filled with 20-th century furniture, toys, and other items.

The abandoned mansion is indeed amazing, yet how come no one lives there? According to Thissen:

“I guess elderly people lived here and died or moved to a senior home,” he told Caters. “They probably don’t have any children or heirs, or the heirs don’t know what to do with the giant villa.”
He added: “It’s more a burden to live in big old buildings these days because of the high maintenance costs.”
