Save the Earth



Oh, it goes back further than that. We had litter pickups in the 1960s, and I recall ordering pamphlets from Pueblo, Colorado, in the 1970s for a class presentation on the causes of water pollution. But the problem is that taking care of our planet is bigger than any one person, so we need to up the effort, because it's coming to bite us in the butt faster than we ever imagined. They are made of tightly packed cylinders, they way coins pack on a table when crowded. And there are indeed little spaces between them, or there would be, but they get smushed together and filled in. You can see the varying thickness in the walls in the photo above.
