The title of this video is a bit of a misnomer, since these "outtakes" are not mistakes. Robin Williams only followed a script to a certain extent. The real magic was in his riffs, where he extemporaneously ad-libbed and free-associated to his heart's content. It was best just to let him do his thing, and then select the funniest version for the finished film. That left a lot of still-funny lines on the cutting room floor, or in Williams' case, a treasured vault of recordings. Disney artists even provided illustrations for the impressions that didn't make the final cut for the animated movie Aladdin. Be aware that you'll want to watch this at least twice to catch all the humor. -via Digg

He was a comic genius. Robin's Actors Studio interview is one of my all time favorite things I've ever watched. H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S!
