Photos Of The Construction Of The Titanic

April 14th, 1912 the unsinkable ship called the Titanic collided with an iceberg and sealed the fate of 1,517 people. Here are 36 vintage photographs that show how the Titanic was built. As of mammoth proportions you don’t have to look long to understand the scale of this breathtaking vessel.

For its day. Titanic Was . . .erm . . . Titanic. However, that was 1912.Currently, there are about 60 liners that are bigger, and carry more passengers.Granted, these floating monstrosities serve a different purpose. No liners do transatlantic crossings on a regular basis. Airliners doomed that. The newer ships are floating malls/hotels/amusement parks floating in a leisure trip Here are a few of the bigger ones:https://www.parkwestgallery.com/giants-of-the-sea-how-modern-cruise-ships-compare-to-the-titanic/
