What is the Difference Between Bees, Wasps, and Hornets?

If you live outside of the concrete jungle and occasionally go outside, you are probably familiar with the wasps, bees, and hornets of your area by the way they look and the nests they build. But that's just your area. There are thousands of species of stinging, flying insects that fall under the broad umbrellas of bees, wasps, and hornets, and how those categories are distinguished can be a bit confusing. Simon Whistler of Today I Found Out explains that and a bunch of other things you should know about those little stingers. He goes pretty fast to get a lot of facts in. Eventually he gets to a battle between a swarm of honeybees and the world's largest hornet. Go honeybees!

Bees hang around flowers and stuff, and they're sometimes in groups.
Wasps are annoying lil sh*ts who make nests right outside your front door.
And Hornets, i think they're like bees but worse.
