When Sharalee Armitage Howard of Coeur d'Alene, ID, had to remove a 110-year-old cottonwood tree from her yard, instead of digging up the stump she hollowed it out and turned it into a beautiful Little Free Library. The addition of a roof, lights, and miniature book decorations makes this a stunning and unique Little Free Library that is worthy of a visit.

I need to move. Sadly my small town is quite hit by poverty and zero class people. I know the meth heads around here would take all the books and trash everything in the process.

It's a nice design concept. I wonder how effective it is in getting people to borrow books and whether they return those books to the tree.
