An oyster meal that led to a rare and precious find!

One New Yorker got more from his meal than what he paid for! Rick Antosh was having lunch at a Manhattan restaurant with a friend and couldn’t believe his luck when he ended up finding a valuable pearl in his oyster pan roast. Deeply engrossed in a conversation with his friend, he felt there was some odd object in his mouth. When he quickly spat it out, he was intrigued to see a round object with a black dot. The restaurant’s chef confirmed that it was indeed a precious pearl, probably worth thousands of dollars. However, Antosh considers the pearl as his lucky charm and intends to keep it with him. I shuck oysters at one of my jobs. Black pearls are insanely rare. Even big,regular pearls are super rare. I've found pearls before but they were small.
