You're the only other person I've come across that has had this dream. I was telling a friend about it and they said it actually happened to them. They were able to crawl into the front seat and stop the car though.

A recurring nightmare of mine is being in the backseat of a car that starts rolling (usually backwards, downhill) and I'm in the backseat AND there is no one in the front. In my dream I'm trying to crawl into the front seat and failing to do so. Most of the time I wake up from the nightmare before it crashes. I'll have to try to remember this set up in my dreams!
