In the Southern Italian region of Puglia, there are over millions of olive trees - many of them ancient with knotted and gnarled barks. This particular one, named the Thinking Tree looks stumped.

I wonder how much faster it is using computer animation? Or is it just a case of having many people working a scene at the same time? I really miss the old stop motion and miniature work in movies. It was less obvious where the real ended and the magic began.
