A kindergarten class incubated a few eggs, and one day got to witness the miracle of life as a baby chick forced his way out of the egg and into the world during class time. The kids couldn't contain themselves! What happens on the day you are born? You get to sing Happy Birthday!

The Gandhi one is cute, but I wouldn't have guessed it was Ganhdi. I think a spinning wheel would have been more appropriate than the staff, which could call to mind Moses, Brigham Young, and a host of others. The spinnning wheel is pure Ganhdi ...

Um... "Mohandas" was his given first name, rebecca. "Mahatma" is more of an honorific applied to him (and others ... it's not unique to Gandhi).
