Over-the-top TV News Entrance

The Portuguese TV network SIC celebrated their 25th anniversary by staging an epic opening for their July 7 newscast. Newscaster Bento Rodrigues is in the water and the streets of Aveiro with multiple cameras going for this live shot. Yet he never hesitates, never stops talking as he makes his way to the outdoor news set.

They are celebrating 25 years of SIC (Portuguese TV) straight from Aveiro, known as the Venice of Portugal. He goes on explaining how the 'moliceiros' (the boat he is in) were used way back for agriculture in the region and now they are used only by tourists. Then he talks about salt, which apparently it is big in the city's economy (although they will talk how salt can be used for beauty treatment). He also explains that the city is the capital of bicycles, they produce and use it everywhere. Then at last he talks about 'ovos moles de aveiro' which are probably some sort of portuguese sweet.
I'm from Brazil... We share the same language. Hope it helps.
