Artificial limbs are first and foremost made to function properly, with durability and realism the second and third most important features, but few amputees receive an artificial limb that looks like a work of art.
But industrial designer Scott Summit aims to change that with his artsy yet totally functional artificial limbs, which are one-of-a-kind works of art so amputees can wear their artificial limbs with pride.
Scott has been creating artificial limbs for 20 years, which has given him the knowledge and experience to create prosthetics that look delicate but are actually quite durable.
Each prosthetic limb is 3D printed and created to the wearer's specifications, allowing them to add their own ideas to the design instead of being stuck with the same old generic looking prosthetic.
