Wade heard about some silly meme online that the kids were going crazy for, so he had to check it out for himself. The meme was called the Batslap, and even though it took place in another dimension known as DC the raw brutality and LOL hilarity spoke to DP on a deeper level. He proceeded to turn his life into the living embodiment of the Batslap, smacking people across the face before they could finish a sentence. It really knocked 'em dead at first, but people quickly grew tired of being smacked about by that silly merc with a mouth so they called out to DC for help...and a guy in a batty cowl and cape answered...
