This Cat Has Deep Thoughts and Serious Concerns

Herman the Cat is a little guy with big eyes and a deep soul. At least, he certainly seems to think a lot more about important matters than other kitties. Just here he seems to be wondering whether it's worth loving anyone if they're only going to die or stop loving you eventually.

And here he seems to have realized what hot dogs are really made of.

Of course, sometimes he does relax that big brain of his -and then he looks like one chill little kitty.

I agree that intentionally breeding cats that end up with these types of defects isn't good, but people still do it -only they usually discard and euthanize the rejects like this cat. I like seeing people care for these handicapped animals, but I also feel more people should spay and neuter their pets.

Unfortunately his condition looks to be a result of bad (human caused) breeding and because of that I don't think his popularity should be encouraged. To get the extreme flat face look he has the upper skull is being forced backwards, reducing room for the eyes. That's why it looks like his eyes are going to pop out of his skull, they literally are. Pugs have this issue too.
Also 'no health issues?' " eyes are so big that he cannot completely close his eyelids","He couldn't eat himself and had to be hand fed" I think Herman should get treated well and he's not to blame, but I think humans should stop breeding deformities to animals because its 'cute'.
