Don’t you just love it when kids look for loopholes? They start this as soon as they understand language and rules, and it continues until they become adults and figure out that parents know best, most of the time. I have one child left at home who is eighteen, and she thinks she doesn’t need to keep me informed of her whereabouts or expected arrival home. I understand the school shouldn't be in the business of providing credit for school lunches, but the way they handled this incident, both the children and the school lost out.
And on something completely different, may I congratulate you on your choice of picture for this article?
I pack lunches. They are more nutritious than what the school offers.
