Documentary Featuring Automotive Design Drawings From Detroit's Golden Era

Even though automotive technology has come a long way from the days of gas guzzling boats and three on the tree shifters, the art of designing a car remains pretty much the same.

Car designs all begin with a series of illustrations created by a concept artist, who applies their knowledge of form, contour shapes, and the automotive brand’s signature style to make the public's automotive dreams come true.

An upcoming documentary entitled "American Dreaming: Detroit's Golden Age Of Automotive Design" is chock full of interviews and artwork from the Motor City's most talented car designers, revealing many old school car designs we were never meant to see.
