Austin was feeling totally groovy after defeating the nefarious Nude Noodler, and his after mission party was in full swing when something came crashing through his roof. It looked like an ordinary blue police box, but last time he'd checked police boxes didn't fly. He went in for a closer look when a man emerged from inside the box, head bloodied and clothes in tatters. The man called himself The Doctor, and he told Austin a strange tale about aliens with amazing powers, screwdrivers that emitted sonic waves and time machines that were far bigger on the inside. The Doctor handed Austin a strange device, and with his dying breath he muttered "You're the Doctor now, Austin, and you must keep the universe totally shagadelic..."
