13 Literal Images Of Figurative Language

Whenever anyone uses the word literally in a sentence grammar nazis start foaming at the mouth and minds begin to puzzle out the validity of the statement.

Can your buddy's sandwich literally be the best sandwich ever made? Probably not, but you'd be surprised how many seemingly figurative phrases and figures of speech can be captured on film.

Here's a selection of figurative terms made real:

1. Pimpmobile-

Most of the time calling a car a pimp mobile means it's worthy of being a pimp's ride, but in this case the car is the one doing the pimpin', and it ain't easy to look this good!:

My uncle was involved in a similar issue (no scam, just an incompetent driver who backed up) and it ended up in court. It's amazing what street forensics can reveal these days: the traces of motion that matched the rubber of the wheels clearly proved my uncle was right. So even without a dashcam, if the police force is competent enough, justice can still be served.

Thanks at Ms. C. for her eloquence in lieu of the grumpy man (I'm going with that gender due to the name, although, I know: this is the Internets).

Happened to me once...although I'm pretty sure it was just an incompetent driver who let his foot off the brake and backed into us downhill...still, he got all self-righteous and wouldn't believe it was his own fault

I remember a video where a young man arrested for DUI was being held in he drunk tank. While alone, he proceeded to punch himself in the face and did a lot of damage. He reall through some real punches.

His goal was obviously to claim the arresting officers beat him up, hoping the charges would then be droppped. Of course he didn't notice the large sign next to him that explained he was on camera.

The body language is classic. The only thing missing is one of them exiting the car while holding their back or neck and crying in pain. The thing for our driver to do now is call the police, so maybe these people can be prevented from doing this to someone who does not have a dash camera.
