Berlin-based photographer Markus Studtmann dissects and reconstructs architectural images to produce the hypnotic art pieces you see here. He calls his process "painting with light." Studtmann, in addition to being an accomplished artist/photographer, is also a psychologist with a PhD in psychology. Perhaps it gives him an edge in making photos that produce visceral reactions and demand attention.
According to his website, Studtmann "loves the process of finding the perfect composition and experimenting in the digital darkroom to the sound of good music and the smell of tasty coffee in the air." Sounds like my kind of guy! If you're a photography enthusiast, be sure to visit Studtmann's website and his 500px site.

I'd say don't demolish them- In about 40 years historians will say that these remaining towers are part of the evolution of defensive structures all through history- Perhaps even the pinnacle of static defensive structures like the world will never see afterwards.
haha Aquarium... now that's more random :P
