Kentucky for Kentucky is an organization that promotes tourism in that fair commonwealth where state officials must take an oath against dueling. Its artwork and media projects are very inventive. They include KFC-scented candles, redecorated state maps, and the ABCs of Kentucky.
Now, to celebrate the state's most popular culinary accomplishment--Kentucky Fried Chicken--Kentucky for Kentucky has turned KFC chicken bones into gold jewelry.

It commissioned Meghan Carroll, a jeweler, to turn chicken bones into gold necklaces. So Carroll and her boyfriend ate a large number of KFC chicken wings, then cleaned and painted the chicken bones with 14-karat gold.
