Scrambled Summaries are Comedy Gold

Bob Lannon looked at his TV’s Netflix app and saw nonsensical descriptions of movies. A bug in the app caused the summaries to be scrambled -in the most amusing way! The A.V. Blog tells us,

The bug causes the last sentence of a program summary to be switched with the last line of the next program’s summary, resulting in such jarring third-act shifts as “Director Sophie Fiennes and philosopher Slavoj Zizek journey into the epicenter of ideology through their interpretations of a need to battle the Green Goblin.”

Netflix is either ignoring the bug or just enjoying the publicity. If you don’t have Netflix or you don’t do apps, you can find screenshots of the funniest scrambled summaries at Lannon’s Tumblr blog, @SummaryBug, and at the accompanying Twitter feed.
