Tamas Kanya's Vivid Vinyl Record Art

Batman

We've previously seen an X-wing built out of beer cans by Hungarian artist Tamas Kanya. This Recyclart post informed me of his driftwood and stone sculptures. But what caught my eye while looking through his gallery was Kanya's large number of cut-up vinyl records. Under his knife, they become vivid scenes from pop culture. You can view more in his online gallery.

Blade Runner

Chuck Norris

Star Wars characters

I don't know what this piece references. Maybe a Quentin Tarantino film?
