The Pretzel Croissant is the Cronut of the Pretzel World

Foodbeast prefers the term "pretzsant," but the official name of this treat is the pretzel croissant. City Bakery in New York City now offers it for sale. Cream of the foodblog Cream and Sugar visited the bakery to try it.

She calls it "one of the best things you could ever put in your mouth" and "a must-add to your list of NYC food adventures." Cream says that it has a flaky crust and a chewy center. There's no rock salt, but the dough is salty.
