This guy in Florida has made friends with a snowy egret who comes to call every day for a bit of dinner. He better be ready with the boloney, or this friendship won't last! Do you get the sneaking suspicion that this egret has friends all over town? -via Tastefully Offensive

Before I moved south, I had 4 crows that came by for breakfast every day. They liked cookies. I gave them names and could tell them apart in seconds by their distinct personalities and mannerisms (not by looks). Like this egret, they fell into a routine and would let me know if I wasn't doing it right!

Maybe Rosetta should be renamed Cheborneck. At the 1:17 mark, she takes a swig of comet juice, smiles, and reports back that it smells of rotten eggs, horse pee and formaldehyde. No wonder Philae wants to leave home. That said, I wish them the best of luck.....I'll be watching.
