Metallica's ‘Freeze ‘Em All’ Concert

On December 8th, Metallica became the first band ever to perform on all seven continents in a single year. The occasion that completed that quest was a one-hour long concert at the Carlini Station in Antarctica. That's an Argentine outpost on King George Island, one of the South Shetland Islands. The scientists stationed there were present, of course, plus a few Metallica fans who won a contest with a trip to Antarctica as the prize. To keep from disturbing wildlife, all attendees wore headphones, to which the music was beamed. The 10-song concert is available on YouTube. See videos and pictures of the event at Laughing Squid.

I'm trying to find good in this but can't. Having a concert in Antarctica, with the audience in headphones, so Metallica can say they played on all 7 concerts in one year is just all kinds of dumb.
