Chainmail Chess Set

If you’re going to play a medieval game, why not do it in a medieval style? David Gutenkauf, a craftsman who specializes in the creation of chainmail, made this chess set of linked steel. The board is 1 foot wide. Each piece is wrapped around a glass marble. The king pieces are about 2 inches tall. The chainmail gives your pieces a +5 armor bonus, but beware of movement penalties due to encumbrance rules.

Hello, David Gutenkauf again, the maker of this chess set. I see my comment offering a coupon was removed, and the account that posted it was disabled. Do you not like me offering a coupon, or were you concerned if I am the actual Etsy shop owner?

Not the best I've ever seen but I'm sure a fan would have no problem recognizing it.

Do people self submit or is the blogger trolling flikr streams looking for cakes to make fun of?

Who cares how the cake looks; All that matters is the taste. But good try. Some people never make an effort... or just sit around on their asses and criticize.
