Firefly-Class Camper

Garrett Finney used to work for NASA designing living spaces on the International Space Station. In 2009, he left to build lightweight campers. After a few years and a few models, he’s come up with this: the FireFly.

It’s a camper that fits into the bed of a truck or onto the back of a small trailer. Because it weighs just 600 pounds, light vehicles can haul it. The interior is rather spartan. Stow your gear beneath the beds, which fold up to provide you with sitting benches and tables. It comes with optional lander legs just in case your shipmates strand you on some godforsaken planet or at Burning Man.
