Digging Out the Sheep - Neatorama

A substantial snowfall in Wales trapped sheep under a blanket of snow. Farmer Gareth Wyn Jones of Llanfairfechan is on his third day of digging them out. This is definite proof that sheep are tough but stupid, and that farming is hard work. -via Daily Picks and Flicks

Yep, this is near where I live, Thousands of farm animals have been killed because of the extreme (for this time of year) weather.

There's nothing new about webrage; it's been here for a long time!! I received lots of online threats of violence AND online death threats over my civil rights work in 2000-2001. It seems so much easier, I think, to behave this way in what SEEMS to be an anonymous environment. It was inevitable that at some point some lunatic would carry this over into real life.
