The Island was much closer to the film Parts: The Clonus Horror. Ripoff perhaps. There was actually a lawsuit over the similarity.

Er, excuuuuuuuuuuse me, but have you even SEEN Logan's Run? The only things the two films have in common are that they are both set in the future. The similarities pretty much end there.
