Anatomy of a First Date

I make Scotch Eggs all the time. Use the oven instead of a deep fryer. We actually all liked them better baked than fried.

I made Scotch eggs for the first time about a month ago. What a hit! now I have people requesting them all the time, and I'm even making a dozen for a friend to take to work the day after Xmas. I deep fry only to get a nice golden color on them, then I put them in the oven to finish up. DELISH! this idea of using cranberries and chestnuts is great! I'll stick to good ol' chicken eggs, though lol
