The Annual Cricket Match on a Sandbank

(Video Link

The Brambles sandbank between the Isle of Wight and the British mainland rises above the waves only once a year and then for only an hour at low tide. It is then that representatives of sailings clubs from each side join in the ritualized combat known as "cricket." This 60-year old tradition is a fun gathering for families and a chance to play the sport in very soggy conditions.
