J.R.R. Tolkien the Dungeon Master

The Lord of the Rings started as a Dungeons & Dragons campaign that went terribly wrong. Tolkien had to make a few modifications, of course. Read the rest from John Kovalik's Dork Tower at the link.

I know what library I want to haunt. It's the public library in my hometown of Hillsboro. The reason? It perfectly resembled the library described in Stephen King's epic story, It. The fact that I read the story after I had left the town didn't make it any less creepy.

But if I were to haunt it, I'd never appear as a clown.
