I don't know about anywhere else but here in the UK tyres as landfill are becoming more and more rare due to environmental charges. They are recycled into all sorts of things, but one of my favourites is when they are chipped for playground surfaces.

I find the description of this article bizarre. The products that the tires were recycled into are "better"? How is that? Tires are "car accessories"? How's that?
